Damascus to Mecca along the various Hajj Forts (Ottoman infrastructure from the 16th

faced with difficulties that pilgrims used to encounter which will slow the pace of the
travel, and the winner is the one who gets to Mecca first. The purpose of the board
game is to raise awareness about the history and significance of the Hejaz Railroad Line.
- The Historic Room
Historic Rooms are common museographer’s approach used to convey the details of
living/work during a particular period of time in a particular context. Not so long ago,
some of the historic buildings within Amman Station included some of its authentic
furniture, stationary and other paraphernalia related to when the station was
functioning at the beginning of the 20th century. The idea of re-creating a historic room
within the historic buildings of the Amman Hejaz Station will contribute positively to the
visitor’s and tourists’ experiences. Rich, authentic and historic furniture was selected to
be placed inside the historic room.
- Cleanup campaign of the area surrounding the station
